Microsoft PowerPoint is one of the most divisive software applications, ever. It is the most popular presentation design tool, part of the Microsoft Office suite of the applications. It is seen as a corruptor of communication practice but is unavoidably the most ubiquitous and accessible presentation out there. As with most Microsoft data/presentation tools, the defaults are suboptimal but PowerPoint can be a useful ally particularly when exploiting its potential as a canvas for sequential story telling.
